Our Finale and Favourite location in Mexico was Tulum. We had only booked 2 nights but ended up staying the rest of our trip which was 2 more weeks. Everything is a bike ride away! Including the best Restaurant I've ever eaten at "CHARLIES VEGAN TACOS" A must go to if your in Tulum!
There are many great beaches and Cenotes near Tulum the most epic beach was the one behind the ruins which you have to pay to get into unless you walk around from the main beach 😉

The nearest Cenote was Grand Cenote. Grand Cenote was great but full of crowds. Overall pretty amazing and there are even some little turtles there! but it took me around 10 minutes of standing in the same spot to get a picture without a person in it!
The most epic Cenote which not many people know about is around 1 km down the road from Grand Cenote. Its called Cenote Santa Cruz. We road our bikes down this deserted path with stray dogs and turkeys following us 😐 but just as we thought we were getting ourselves into trouble we made it, and we had it all to ourselves
After a few days of Tequila shots and lazing by the beach, we then rented a car and ventured to Yucatan to visit Chichen Itza. Now if site seeing is not your thing or you have kids with you I would not recommend this, the road trip was fun but we had to pay a lot to rent the car (around $120 USD each) and then had to pay 380 peso each way to cross from Quintanaroo to Yucatan (into state). However we didn't book in advance and (Bus trips are around $100 USD per person +entry). We then lined up for an hour to pay again to get into Chichen Itza, but who cares about money, your in Mexico!
Then we drove 5 more minutes to a Cenote called Cenote Ik Kil. This one was the most crowded of all, the water was pretty dirty and literally hundreds of people everywhere! Its not really much like the pictures you see on google

Aside from my negative points, These locations are awesome and we had the best most memorable time!

We have been wanting to go to Tulum after watching a video on Youtube about it. Thanks for posting! Would love to see more pictures from this trip!

Oh man! That must suck! :/ We actually just came back from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which was amazing. That's why we were looking for other places in Mexico to visit. We will definitely look into going now since we've heard several good things about it.

They were adorable! but unfortunately in an enclosure so you can't swim with them
