in #travel7 years ago

Join me in Iceland, the most beautiful and powerful country I've ever been to!

Day 1

Our first stop was Blue Lagoon!
There is something just extra special about slipping into the warm hot spring and hearing the wind howl over the Mountain tops with your face mask on and drinking a glass of wine or beer. There are also saunas and steam rooms there too!
If you're feeling like extra pampering, they have a restaurant where they encourage attendance in bath robes!!

## This incredible location is a must see if you're in Iceland!!!!

Day 2

We visited the Golden Circle ~ about an hour drive all up stopping at some incredible locations on the way!

Our first stop was Geysir. The Rock pools heated by the volcanos that spurt out big gusts of water!

The Next stop was Gullfoss Falls, This was the most incredible, Powerfull and breathtaking part of nature I've ever seen. This place has a funny way of reminding you who is really in charge "Nature" These waterfalls flow so fast it could kill you in an instant

Day 3

On our last day before heading to the airport we road tripped down to a waterfall called Skogarfoss Falls! An absolutely incredibly sight with a long trail behind if you're into hiking 😉

If you're ever lucky enough to Visit Iceland I'd defiantly recommend renting a car. It is the easiest and cheapest way to get around, but make sure you get a bigger sturdier car as the winds are so strong you need to be careful the doors don't blow off!?

Iceland is also very expensive to buy things like clothes, souvenirs and to eat out, so my advice - pick your favourite must have things and cook at your airbnb/ hotel
