Travel and visit La Union "Surfing Capital of the North", (Philippines)

Every place is unique but when it comes to quick getaway from the city, La Union is a good choice of place to relax with friends, family or just by you. La Union is located in Ilocos Norte known as the “Surfing Capital of the North” and is just 6 hours away from Manila.

Me and my family visits La Union for a short vacation where we stayed at our house in San Fernando, the Capital City of La Union. A walking distance beach is located in our place so we decided to go there and swim. It has no entrance fee and you may rent a cottage if you want to. Camping is also allowed.

Here are some photos I got while having fun with the waves and its pure sand.

The sands here are so fine.

And the waves is just so good to be with.

You can even play freely in the water.

You may walk, jog and run along the shore since the place is so wide.

You may even write your name in the sand.

Or even just follow your shadow.

Aside from those, you may also buy fresh fishes sold by the fishermen. And view the beautiful scenery of the sun as it rises in the morning and sets in the afternoon. But unfortunately, i have no photos of the sunrise and sunset to show.

Actually, there are more lots to see in La Union not just the beaches. Just like their market where you can buy cheap fresh vegetables, fruits and many more.

If you want to visit La Union without costing you too much, you may rent our house (studio type) for a short stay since its newly renovated and no one is living there since its just our rest house. Hope you enjoyed my post :)
