Traveling with me #8: A day in Segovia (Spain), World Heritage Site
Hi Steemit friends,
We will spend a full day in Segovia, where we will visit its famous aqueduct, we will eat the magnificent suckling pig and stroll through the center of this cultural city.
Segovia is a small city in the center of Spain where "the old town of Segovia" and its aqueduct were declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1985. This aqueduct is one of the Roman monuments that are best preserved in Spain.
In addition to its aqueduct and historic center, this city is visited by many people who come to eat. In its gastronomy stands out the famous roast suckling pig that is split with a dish as the tradition dictates, and never forget to break the dish once it is broken.
After eating, take a walk through the historic center of town to get down the food comes in handy. Stresses the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Segovia, a Gothic-style cathedral built between the 16th and 18th centuries that remains fantastically well.
If you have the possibility to visit this city do not waste it, visit its historical center, its fabulous aqueduct and do not forget under no concept to eat a good roast suckling pig.
The architecture is amazing.
