Can you stop over somewhere to break the trip? On the way to Oz we spent a week in Tahiti to adjust to time change and acclimate, but also to avoid long flights. Longest leg was coming home, Auckland-Vancouver 13 hours I think. If you do go Air NZ is awesome!
