Baku, Azerbaijan
I'm going to talk about this beautiful place today. The place where I belong. This is the city of my childhood.
If I don't live here now, ı come as a non-foreign tourist :) A city that impresses me. I suggest you to travel.
A city with many beautiful sights. They mean more to me than the landscape. Long talk about the city. But i want to give you important information about your city. first I Must say, most of the photos belong to me. I took some as a source.
Now let's learn about the city. Baku (Azerbaijan: Baku) is the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, located on the west coast of the Caspian Sea. The largest city in the Caucasus is the most important cultural and commercial center.
In addition to being the most important industrial, commercial and cultural center of the country, it is also important as a port city. Most of the inhabitants of the city are Azerbaijanis.
Theater, library, cinema and other cultural places are common in the city. According to Lonely Planet's rankings, Baku is one of the top ten destinations in the world for nightlife. So don't miss this place :)
Baku also hosted many Olympic games. That's not the most important information, but I said it :).
Among the three capitals in the Caucasus, Baku is the city with the highest population, and its population is greater than the total of Tbilisi and Yerevan. Baku city has a population of more than 3 million. The Azeris constitute 90% of the Baku population.
Very pleasant to stroll through Baku streets. Very different emotions. One of the main reasons for this is the history of Baku. Baku has a very long and heavy history. Located between Asia and Europe, Baku received its share of both civilizations. The Soviets also contributed to this civilization.
When you travel on one side you can feel yourself in Europe, in another street, in Asia, in another street you can feel in Russia. This is a tremendous feeling. The delicate touch of history to this city. And of course this city has its own civilization.

Baku's history dates back to the old period. The archaeological finds found in the land of Absheron prove that this place is the place of old life.
In the area of Pirallahı, Zığ Lake, Şüvelan, Merdekan, Binegedi, Emircan and similar places, archaeological materials belonging to the 3rd millennium BC were found. There are many castles in the center and regions of Baku.
A fortress in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The fortress wall is doubled. The first wall was built during the time of Shirvanshah III Menuchehr, and the second wall was built during the reign of Shirvanshah I Ahsitan.
However, the second city walls were destroyed during the reign of Russian tsarist power in Azerbaijan. The first wall still stands. The Baku castle has two gates. One of them opens to the Caspian Sea and the other to land.
The castles here have a huge history. And these castles are protected by UNESCO. A place to watch with admiration.
The reason for the construction of these fortresses is perhaps clear to you. Many battles have been fought for this land.
Many times lost its independence. But managed to stand still. There is still a lot of pressure against this country, as the oil resources and the geographical area are very good.
People should explore these places. An important opportunity to understand history and recognize this civilization. There's a lot I don't know about this city. The city is not big, but the history is great. Baku is an artistically leading city in Asia.
The first opera in Asia was in Baku. City with many historical museums. Theater, opera and circuses, the city that gives importance to art, Baku. I miss Baku very much. I gave you a brief information about Baku. In my eyes, Baku is such a place.
