The Land of the Rising Sun: A Travel Like No Other

If given a chance to work and live in another country, it will be JAPAN!!! There’s no place as beautiful , as clean and as peaceful as Japan (that’s for me). The climate is A-okay and the people are exceptional – honest, well-mannered and so reserved. If budget and time will permit, I will go there every year just like what my friends do. Foods are sooooo good plus the sceneries, ahhhh, my heart is full! Indeed, Japan is a country you will love till your last breath #literally.

Kansai Airport:
Wow, look how peaceful it is... Hahaha, it’s the complete opposite of my country Philippines’ ever disturbing traffic condition.

Osaka:
We just arrived at our rented place. Hmmm... so clean and orderly. If only I had zoomed-in this photo, you would see that bikes were just parked there WITHOUT padlocks! Talk about complete TRUST!

Hello Kitty:
One thing I wouldn’t miss here is HELLO KITTY!!! Everywhere we went, there were hello kitty stuffs and my daughter could’t contain her excitement and happiness. Yes, that’s my daughter. Isn’t she pretty?

Universal Studios Japan:
One thing we realized in this travel: a day was not enough to explore Universal Studios! It’s located in Osaka. If only we reasearched more before going there. We could have booked for 2 or 3 days instead of only 1. The queue was quite long so it was time consuming. Plus, we couldn’t get enough of Hogwarts! Ahhh, my potterhead daughter clearly was in cloud 9 that time! We were fortunate enough to be interviewed by their local tv station! Wow such luck! Oh, by the way, you should not miss their butterbeer if you plan to visit the place – it’s so yummy!!!

Osaka Castle:
According to Wiki, Osaka Castle is a Japanese castle in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period.

Tokyo:
One of the busiest and the most crowded city in Japan. Yet, it’s still squeaky-clean . A lot of picturesque places to visit to - simply captivating! Branded clothes were sold everywhere at a very cheap price because well, it was so timely that we went there during their Golden Week when many Japanese workers got about a week off which was celebrated from April 29 to May 5 marked by four national holidays – Showa day, Constitutional Memorial Day, Greenery Day and Children’s Day.

World’s Busiest Intersection:
It’s in Shibuya Station, Tokyo. It would be a shame if we were not able to experience joining the crowd crossing the intersection. We were like tiny black ants!!! Hahaha... You couldn’t possibly drop a needle!

Hachikō:
Who wouldn’t adore that Akita dog, Hachikō? We all deeply remembered him for his remarkable loyalty to his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, for whom he continued to wait for over nine years following his death. Hachikō Memorial Statue is located near Shibuya Station, Tokyo.

Kyoto:
This was once the capital of Japan, a city located on the island of Honshu. It's famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses.

Kinkaku-ji or Temple of the Golden Pavilion, officially named Rokuon-ji, is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. The tranquility of the place was so worth visiting.

Fushimi Inari Taisha:
It is the head shrine of the god Inari, located in Fushimi Ward in Kyoto, Japan. Ohhh, I was just so delighted to see a Filipino movie shot in this place. Weeeeh, we've been here!!!

Arashiyama Bamboo Grove:
It is one of Kyoto’s top sights to drop by. I had seen this before in a Kdrama. I never thought I would be able to visit this beautiful place. “Bamboos are sturdy, steadfast, and reliable. They may bend and sway with the typhoons or storms but they never break. They will spring back again - stand strong and tall again!” ~ Me

FOOD:
As I said in my introduction, food were sooo good in Japan! It may be expensive but it’s worth every penny for your palate’s satisfaction! You gonna make that stomach super full and happy!

Technology:
Lastly, the technology in this side of the earth is remarkable! My rural mind couldn’t hide it’s amazement – so hightech!!! I saw human-like and animal-like robots displayed in some shops! And oh my, look at this toilet bidet! Isn’t it amazing? Hahaha...

Believe me, once you visited JAPAN, you will surely want to go back there over and over again! There are still more tourist spots we still need to explore so I am pretty sure we'll visit there again soon!
