Its main attraction is the "Guadalupan Sanctuary" known by residents as the "unfinished church", because it began to be built in 1898 and its construction stopped in 1914 due to the Mexican revolution. It was until 1990 that its construction resumed. to conclude in 2008. It is a work of architecture impressive for its European neo-Gothic style, with a height of 107.5 meters and an area of 5.414,58 m².
Within the sanctuary is the monumental organ, whose dimensions are 22 m high x 15.38 long x 7.15 deep and have a weight of 43 tons. It is the largest organ in Mexico and with the best resonance in America.
Its doors are made of mahogany and are carved with figures in high relief characteristic of the Gothic, large stained glass windows of modernist style and huge pilasters with four niches containing statues of saints.
