The Pink Lake in Australia

This pink lake just wow téléchargement.jpg

It's situated in western Australia exactly in Goldfields Esperance & they call it the Salt Lake it lies with 2 mil length & 1 mil width .
They say that the water wasn't pink for more then a decade and what is the reason for color changing ?
It's because of green alga (Dunaliella salina, halobacterium) and the brine prawns , once the water reaches a certain amount of saltiness which is superior then sea water it gives good conditions to the green alga to changes color .

This lake has been also nominated by BirdLife International as an important place for birds between 1995-2006 a considerable number of birds came to this place .

Talking about this nomination there is another use of this lake , yeah salt production , in 1980 they investigated about that and found that this lake is useful for salt production and now the salt is kiln , dried , crushed , bagged in place before distribution.

And let's not forget that it's a fantastic place for tourism which the government can make hotels there and make benefits from the charm of this place <3 <3
