Motorcycle Adventure #4: Ride to Nandi Hill
There are a number of hills in and around my city, Nandi hill, however, is the most well known. It attracts huge crowds on the weekends which is why we avoid going there though we lamented our decision from time to time as there are some really nice roads to be enjoyed on the way. On one such day, we decided to give our old friend a visit and so we did.
6:30 AM: Roads leading to the hill is a highway so there is not much which could be done apart from riding in straight lines like this
7:20 AM: The real roads start about 20 kms before the hills when a left turn gives way to beautiful roads with lush green vegetation all around. The distant hill becomes bigger and bigger as we move closer.
7:40 AM: This boulevard with Eucalyptus trees gives way to some much-needed twisties
7:50 AM: One of the above mentioned "much-needed twisties"
8:00 AM: Hill Climb
8:10 AM: Since its very crowded at the very top, we go to a secret nearby hill which is not known to many. The main reason for it being a lack of road!
8:20 AM: This is how we get to THAT secret hill!
8:21 AM: Mind you, none of these motorcycles are off-roaders
8:22 AM: Peace!
9:10 AM: Time to head back
9:12 AM: Enjoying last of good roads
10:00 AM: Back on the highway, heading home
