Christmas in Mexico

I like to get away to somewhere warm each Christmas. In the winter of 2016 and 2017, i was fortunate enough to escape the bitter cold and found myself sipping Pina Colada with great company under the Mexican sun.

It is a privilege to be selfish... to leave the hustle and bustle of my work life behind, to wake up every morning to the soothing sound of the ocean, to only focus on my drink in one hand and my kindle in the other and most important of all, to take a well-deserved break from my cell phone. The food was amazing and the staff at both resorts were wonderful. The pacific waves were a little rough, but the sunset was breathtaking.
