Cleveland Ohio must-see attractions that you can visit for free

It's no secret that Cleveland is teeming with activities and attractions; finding them for free or low cost, however, could be a bit of a challenge. Long-time residents know where to go without spending a lot of cash and now you can too. This article is made available to visitors as well as local individuals and families.

NASA Glenn Visitor Center


The NASA Glenn Visitor Center is home to an auditorium, gift shop and six galleries covering 6,000 square feet. It is wheelchair accessible, and admission is free. The NASA Glenn Visitor Center is open every day, except New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Click the picture on the left for hours of operation. Cleveland Museum of Art


Object-for-object, the Cleveland Museum of Art has one of the finest collections in the world. General admission is always free. Some special exhibitions have entry fees.

Lake View Cemetery


The Lake View Cemetery is known as Cleveland's Outdoor Museum and it offers a diverse year-round schedule of educational and cultural events. For a self-guided audio tour, which includes stops at Wade Chapel and the Garfield Monument just pick up a cassette or CD at the office just inside the Euclid Avenue entrance. Buildings are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, from April through October.

Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland


The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland's building, a national historic landmark, stands as a monument to the superb craftsmanship and prosperity of the post-World War I era. Guided tours of the Bank offer guests an insider's view of this architecturally impressive building, as well as a look at the operations of the U.S. central bank. Admission is Free! Visitors age 16 and up, must present a valid driver’s license, school ID, or other photo identification for admission to the building.

Cultural Gardens


The Cultural Gardenshttp://www.clevelandfed.org/ are located within the City of Cleveland's Rockefeller Park, they extend roughly 1.5 miles on both MLK and East Blvd, so a complete walk around the Gardens would be approximately 3 miles.
