ZOO in Zagreb (Croatia)- My day in ZOO

in #travel6 years ago

Short but rich, modest but significant. This way, it is best to describe the history of the Zagreb Zoo Garden. Located in the Maksimir Park under centuries-old oak trees, it has a modest beginning with only five animals - three foxes and two forest owls. It was founded by Mijo pl. Filipovic. It was opened on June 27, 1925 in the area of Labu Island, today's first island on the First Lake. Thanks to the wealthy citizens and their donations until 1926, there were 320 animals living there, for which the area of the Zoo Garden was extended to the land area. From then until today it stretches to 7 ha together with the lake.

Today, visit to the ZOO is a great Experience if you come to Zagreb.

Here is some short review of my visit to ZOO.

IT was a great day, and you really feel the power of the animals. But, my question is- do you support a concept of ZOO?
I Like to go to ZOO, but also, Im very sad when I see captured and closed animals.. 😥😥
