The South African Experience!! // The V&A Waterfront

Hello steemits! I trust everyone is having a eventful and prosperous day today! I’d just like to share my day today/ I visited the Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa - “where the city meets the sea”

The V&A waterfront, which attracts roughly 24 million visitors each year is South Africa’s most visited destination. Look at the beautiful pictures below before I continue with my fun fact article on the cultural experiences

As you can see in the last picture loaded, there’s a amazing view of our historical and iconic Table Mountain, overlooking the whole Cape Town city! It is also one of the 7 wonders of the world! This is honestly a breathtaking and gracious view. The iconic Table Mountain is nearly 260 million years old. Did you know? World famous figures such as King George IV, Queen Elizabeth II, Arnold Swazanager, Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey, Michael Buble etc has visited and explored Table Mountain.

When visiting the Waterfront in Cape Town, there’s lots of African Traditions such as South Africans singing, dancing and performing while you’re strolling along side of the sea dock with your ice cream and hundreds of stores selling items of African cultural ornaments. There is a extremely wide variety of food places such as hand crafted burgers, boerewors, chips (which you can buy at a small store outside or as we capetionians call it - “Stalletjies”) fresh seafood and also five star restaurants along the beautiful seaside and sunset that can be visited. (Which is where I ate)

I believe I live in the most beautiful, cultured and alive city in the world. We have a variety of cultural attractions and heritage sites that can be explored!
