TRAVELOGUE : OSTRICH FARM AT CAPE TOWN
My dear steemians ,
Here I am once again ,and will be narrating to you my travel experiences of my trip to Cape town.In this particular post i shall confine my self to the visit to the Ostrich farm at Redhill Cape town.
We flew from Lubumbashi to Johannesburg and from there to Capetown by the south African national Carrier. The flights were tiring and had to wait at Johhanesburg for the connecting flight to Capetown. However we realised soon that the wait at Johhanesburg was worthwhile as Cape town was utterly beautiful. It was pristine and pure with hardly any pollution. It had pristine beaches with crystal clear water and light houses and hills and natural parks.
The photograph above is of the Redhill Ostrich farm which incidently happened to be our first destination at Capetown as it happened to be enroute our way to our hotel
Signboard of the park.
A flock of ostriches.
A beautiful closeup,The bird seems to be posing for the photograph
With the park in the backdrop.
Captured standing tall.
Strolling in the wilderness
Usual eating habits like all birds.
Another one posing.
Friends we did not feel like leaving the place, it was so peaceful and the birds were so friendly .We spent some good three hours with the birds and then freshened up at the nearby hotels before embarking upon our destination for the night halt at Cape town.
My recommendation to everybody is to not to miss this trip if you ever go to Cape town. You would also love to buy souvenirs made out of ostrich eggs and feathers. They have a variety of lamp shades which are retailed for anywhere between 15-120 dollars.
Friends I would love your feedbacks , and any body who has also traveled to Cape town may please leave a comment about their trip and adventures at this lovely place
Thanks
You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It should be incidentally instead of incidently.thankyou.
