Dharavi Mumbai Slum Part 2
... It was a very warm day but in the slum itself you can stand it well.
The construction of the neighborhood is built in a way that it is shady and dark throughout the day.
That's why it sometimes looks like it's at night .
The kids are damn fast on their own .
Even if the gutter looks very dirty it does not stink here .
There is a scent of spices in the air .
The children here do not play play station, here chess is played .
When we came back from the residential area on the road, it has become much warmer immediately.
All around the slum are small stalls where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables.
This was my visit to an old friend from the slums of Mumbai.
I think that the people here are very friendly and happy although you are very poor here. However, people are lacking nothing that is necessary and affordable .
Christians, Muslims and Hindus live together in the densest space in peace .
The poorest caste people live under the bridges.
So goodbye next week I will first have a bit of sightseeing in Mumbai . 🙋🏻♂️
