Live with it. To those of you who have no clue, good for you.

The City of Golden Friendship | Adventure Capital of the Philippines
Just a bit of background (and a side-bit), Cagayan de Oro is the capital of Misamis Oriental found in Mindanao. Its fast-growing economy has been in the talks for the past few years. Investors from all over the country have been going in and out this city opening various businesses in malls, food chains and international brands seldom seen elsewhere. Just last year, it has been ranked as the 10th highly urbanized city in the country (http://www.sunstar.com.ph/cagayan-de-oro/local-news/2017/08/19/oro-falls-10th-most-competitive-cities-ph-559315).
Dubbed as the “City of Golden Friendship” and the “Adventure Capital of the Philippines”, it is known to travelers and adrenaline junkies for its natural caves, the famous white-water rafting, Asia’s first longest zip line and the newest game changer - Mindanao's 1st World Class Water Theme Park.
Not only is it where you can complete your bucketlist, it is also a gateway for a number of popular spots! You can travel to Davao City, Zamboanga, Agusan, Surigao - and the list goes on!
