Travelling to Cape Town
Hi guys!
In March of this year I went to the city of Cape Town in South Africa. That was my first time and I must admit, it is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to.
I went to Paris multiple times, but the experience I had in Cape Town far exceeds the one I had in Paris.
This is the beautiful view I had from the VineYard Hotel in Cape Town. See the mountain? From somebody coming from a sunny and sahelian country like Senegal, I was not used to mountains. Needless to say that I very much enjoyed this view every morning.
Moreover, the weather was really nice (between 16 and 20 degrees in the evening) and the air was so fresh (unlike the polluted air of our cities). But one thing that was not very common, the water from the tap is drinkable in Cape Town. That was quite shocking to me!
When I was not chilling at the hotel (see below😉), I was walking down the streets to admire this calm and quiet place.
Below you see the garden of VineYard Hotel.
This is Waterfront at night. The biggest mall, full of shops and restaurants (both indoor and outdoor). A nice place to visit. You can go shopping until 10pm.
Yes, I got in... 😊

Two days before leaving, I did something really unexpected, unusual, exhausting, exciting and awesome. For the first time in my life, I... climbed a mountain.
Remember that first picture in the beginning of this post? Yeah, that mountain. I think my legs will remember this for ever.
But it was worth it!
I really loved this city and I really hope I will be able to visit Cape Town again. I only stayed for a week or so.
But I encourage you to experience this by yourself, visit Cape Town. You will definitely not regret it.
Great pictures...i always wanted to go to South Africa :))
I strongly encourage you to do so, it really worths it ☺
It seems you were having great time there! I haven't been to South Africa before but am planning for a trip. Your experience did encourage me to speed the step up!
Glad to read that @kitcat!
