OVERNIGHT TRAIN to SAPA | TRAVEL VLOG #6

Hi guys!

So, this was our very first time on an overnight train and we took it from Hanoi’s Railway Station all the way to the city of Lao Cai. The train left around 9pm in the evening and arrived at 5 am sharp. The ride was very rocky and loud and if you don’t mind being thrown off the bed a few times during the night then this overnight train is for you! Yet, with that being said, we enjoyed the train ride all the more because of it! Life may not always work out the way you wanted it to or planned, and that’s exactly where the fun lies ~

We arranged for a private car to pick us up from Lao Cai train station through the hotel we were staying at called, Freesia Hotel. For a 4 star hotel, it was surprisingly affordable! The receptionists at the lobby were kind and attentive, the rooms were immaculate and the free buffet breakfast each morning had so much variety and was so delicious! Will definitely stay here again when we return.

After dropping off our luggage at the hotel, we went to roam around the town of Sapa for a bite to eat. We found a cute place called, Viet Emotion Restaurant and just when we were about to step inside, a lovely local woman stopped us to have a chat. She asked us where we were from, how long we were planning to stay and if we would like to have her take us on a tour around the small villages around Sapa. Watch to find out if we accept her offer!
