Travel Philippines #2--Sierra del Oro, Cagayan de Oro City

Welcome to Sierra del Oro!

So apparently, I and my best friends went to this place at Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Sierra del Oro is one of the remarkable places now in Cagayan de Oro City. It’s a newly built landmark, and it truly amazes you when you enter the place. Since we’re way too far to Cagayan, we rode a bus from Iligan City (where we lived at) to there. Basically, it took 2-3 hours for us to reach the city.

It was February 24th, Saturday, Jessa’s birthday (my other best friend), and it will be a fun event if we will celebrate her birthday to Sierra del Oro. Since I have a work during Saturdays, too, prior the day of her birthday, I already filed my leave to be able to attend and to make the day memorable for her at the same time. It has also been a long while since we have seen each other. Thus, her birthday will be a special day for the three of us.

Upon reaching the city, you will not see the destination place yet, you still have to ride another vehicle enable to reach there. Since we are tourists, we have to have researches about Sierra del Oro, especially we do not have a private car, so we need to search more on how to get there.

Take note, if you are a Filipino and like us who do not have much facilities in going there, this blog really helps.

Anyway, to continue, we rode a shuttle back and forth in reaching there. We had it from Donsal’s Transport, located at the back of Gaisano Mall. It’s kind of expensive, but you really have to budget your money well. So, you just have to pay ₱100.00 or $1.92 individually, plus ₱50.00 or $0.96 for the Sierra del Oro’s entrance fee.

As you get inside, a marvelous view will welcome you…

The pool is still on-going, but surely it is as magnificent as the surrounding.

I just cannot get over how majestic the place is~

You see, it is a sky destination located at the highest peak of Cagayan de Oro City. You will surely witness how the nature basked the whole place with serenity and tranquility. Although it is still under construction, its enormous visage will never fail to indulge you.

Exploring the place gets you high, totally high!

Now, aside from its spectacular view, the place also offers different great enjoyment for everybody and surely your kids will love it! Though each them have corresponding payments, still, you will witness how worth it. However, I tell you, it's cheaper than you expected.
