How I spent my birthday in Amsterdam

Hi everyone, hope you all are alright!

Last year in the beginning of October I was thinking of where to spend my birthday ( I was born on October 20th)

I have never been in Amsterdam before that, so I really wanted to travel there. My colleague Dmitry, has called my cellphone on OCT 10th and told me that he is planning to go to Amsterdam on the same dates as me and he is planning to attend the Amsterdam Music Festival which is on the 21st of October.

So, I also bought a ticket to that festival, I thought it would be a great bday afterparty (it was definateli worth it).

As soon as we landed, we took a taxi (which cost about 50 EUR to the city centre) straight to our hotel. It was almost midnight, that is why we decided to take a taxi.

We check in to our hotel room and went outside right away for a walk to check out the city and maybe get beers, and more:))

Obviously we went to the nearest bar to get some fresh Grolsch beer, after that we decided to go to a coffeeeshop by our hotel before goin to bed :)

Next day we went for a walk around Amsterdam, the city is truly beautiful. (It was already my birthday)

The day after, we went to a Moco Museum that held a Banksy exhibition which was called: Laugh Now, and a Dali exhibition whic was called: Genius

I have been a Banksy fan for a long time now, and I was pleasantly surprised and lucky to attend his exhibitions.
(I'm in love with street art)

And ofcourse Salvador Dali the legendary artist known around the whole world. (My mom's fav artist)

Also, the Moco museum had some Kaws sculptures for sale.

We spent about 3 hours in that museum, because it was super interesting.

Truly a great museum, make sure you go to Moco museum if you ever visit Amsterdam.

I had to buy the Banksy book which called Home Sweet Home, since it is not sold in Russia

After visiting the museum, we were on our way to our hotel, and saw a familiar face. It was Ginaluca Vacchi the famous Italian milionaire and DJ. We met him, he is a nice and humble individual, after he invited us to his DJ show at a night club the name of which I do not remember. He also said happy birthday to me :))

We could not make it to his party sicne we had a Festival to attend that night.

For me this festival was the best out of all the other fest's that I have ever attended.

For our last couple of days we walked around the beautiful city, drank beer, and chilled out.

On our way back to the airport for our flight back to Moscow, we went to a coffeeshop for some spacecakes, so our goes smoothly :))

I will definately come back, because we still have not checked out the Vincent Van Gogh museum (there was a huge line and it was raining)

Also, we want to visit Rotterdam and Den Haag.

It was and amazing experience.
