True Colors in India: Fill the belly and heart

Shimlaから10時間、早朝Dhatamshalaのバスターミナルに到着。
チベット亡命政府の拠点であるMcleod Ganjまで乗り合いジープで30分ほど。

10 hours from Shimla, arrived at the bus terminal of Dharamshala early in the morning. There is Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) based in Mcleod Ganj, it is about 30 minutes by jeep from Dharamshala.

この小さなエリアが豊かで安全な理由は、様々な方面からの援助、それから観光の成功です。
数キロ離れたBhagsuはヒンドゥーの聖地でインドの経済発展と共に国内観光客が劇的に増えています、けれどまだBhagsuのメイン通りからTriund Hillへ向かう坂道は静かで隠れ家的なゲストハウスが点在しています。

The reason why this small area is rich and safe is the aid from various groups and the success of sightseeing. A few km away Bhagsu is a sacred place in Hindu and domestic tourists increase with Indian economic development, however, the hillslope to Triund Hill from the main street of Bhagsu is dotted with quiet and hidden guest houses.

Mcleod GanjのMain square からDharamkot Roadへ、通り沿いの老舗でマトンモモを食べました。
Dharamkot Road沿いにはチベタン経営のリーズナブルなホテルが幾つかあります。10年前は、この長い階段の一番上に1泊1ドルのドミトリーがありました。

I turned off from Mcleodganj Main square to Dharamkot Road and I ate the Mutton Momo at restaurant that have long history. Along the Dharamkot Road there are many reasonable hotels in Tibetan management. ten years ago, there was $1 dormitory at the top of this long stair.

Jogibara Roadを下ると日本食で有名なレストラン、Lung Ta (チベット語で風の馬という意味) があります。収入はチベット支援に充てられます。
値段はとてもリーズナブルで味噌汁が美味しいので是非。
最近、Bhagsuにも日本食レストランが出来たそうです。

If you go down Jogibara Road, there is "Lung Ta" that is famous Japanese restaurant, Lung Ta (meaning horse of wind in Tibetan). Them income will be allocated to support Tibet. the price is very reasonable and miso soup is delicious so come on. Recently, Bhagsu also have a Japanese restaurant.

この小さな町の素敵なところは、美味しいエスプレッソや、甘すぎない美味しいケーキの作り手が居ること!
しかもバンガロールやデリー、ポンディシェリと比べて半額以下!!

The wonderful thing about this small town is that there are delicious espresso and they have many cook method of sweet modest nice cakes! and their prices are less than half of Bangalore or Delhi or Pondicherry!!

信じてもらえないかも知れませんが、ここに来た目的はヴィパサナ。が、残念ながら施設の改装中でした。
今はもうオープンしているはずですよ。

You will not believe, but my purpose that came here is Vipassana. Unfortunately the Vipassana Center was under renovation. It should already be open now.
