Trip to Písac
Is not in Italy, is actually a village located in the Sacred Valley region ( Cusco -Perú 🇵🇪). Not as popular as MacchuPicchu , these agricultural terraces are a very popular stop for local and international tourists, if you are planning a trip to Cusco make sure to save a date to visit this place; and if that happens to be on a Sunday even better, since every sunday the local have a fair, in the plaza on the town they sell all kind of souvenirs at a very reasonable price, you will find alpaca clothing, silver jewelry, hand crafted wood ornaments and much more including fresh and organic vegetables.
In the Plaza you will find few places to eat, but my personal favorites are the ladies selling corn and fresh cheese, there is couple places inside the shoping area where you can find guine pig.
For the ones that like to explore and hike the ruins, please do it before the shopping, since you will run out of energy, make sure you go early as well, the hiking will take around 3 hrs in normal speed, and the market starts to close around 5.
One last tip, make sure you have a bottle (or more) of water with you, during the hiking you wont have the opportunity to buy any.
