Bunch of germans in Asia - Making their way through 6 countries in 3 Month

Greetings to all Steemians out there!

got to know your opinion regarding the upcoming trip through asia of 3 friends and me. We have planed to travel through 6 countries in asia in 3 month, 1 week.

Start: 28th of november '17 Phuket, Thailand
End: 05th of march'18 Bali, Indonesia

As you can see in the picture, we have planed to go through four countries plus Phillipines and Bali in Indonesia. From Phuket, down in Thailand, we want to make our way up to Bangkok at around christmas time. After some days in the old and new city of Bangkok we fly to Hanoi in Vietnam. Hanoi is, as I have heared worth visiting especially when you want to see the Halong Bay with it's stunning landscape.

In Hanoi we got some contacts where we will rent bikes to drive down the cost of vietnam. After making nearly the half length of Vietnam (Hanoi to Hué), the way leads us over the border to Laos, which shall have amazing views. From Pakse in Laos the way is going further south to Cambodia where we will end in Phnom Penh with a short detour through Siem Reap. The interesting part here is not only where we are heading, no, also that we have planed to make this way over 4 days with the canoe on the river Mekong

Once done with the main land, we head on the the next step in Palawan, on the Philippines. Especially here I am very interested in your suggestions. I want to find some nice and maybe not to touristic spots on these wonderful islands.

After the Philippines we could probably use some more "island feeling"... and this is why we probably go on with Bali, and the Gilis, next to Lombok. Although I have already been there, and do normaly not travel to a spot twice, I am really looking forward to it, maybe also because I have made some friends over there.

So this is it guys, please let me know what you think of it. The trip route is not fixed yet, which means I am very open to your opinion and what your suggestions are. Please feel free to comment.
