The plank road leading to the seaside is extremely beautiful on sunny days.

🚗 Transportation

As Dapeng Peninsula is far from the urban area, public transportation is not very convenient. The best way is still self - driving. 🚗 If you go to Dapeng on holidays, you need to make an appointment in WeChat in advance to report your license plate number.❗ It is not required on weekdays.

📌 Xichong Beach / Shenzhen Observatory

🔭 If you want to visit the inside of the observatory, you need to make an appointment. If you just walk along the plank road to see the sea, it is not necessary.

⚠️ Tips

1️⃣ Take sun - protection measures. 🧴 Bring sunscreen, sun hat and sunglasses.
2️⃣ Drink more water as the weather is hot. 💧 There are not enough stores along the plank road for hiking, so please bring enough water by yourself to avoid heatstroke.
3️⃣ Take away your garbage. ♻️ Protect the natural environment of this beautiful coast.
4️⃣ Aerial photography is really wonderful. If you have a drone, be sure to bring it. ❗
