City Park Bradford Town Centre West Yorkshire: Spectacular Place to Visit

In a recent development program, Bradford council took a bold inititative to create new attractions in the town centre. Two of these major projects just completed are: the City Park in Centenary Square and the Broadway Shopping Centre.

The Centenary Square City Park is situated right in the heart of the city in front of the City Council Old Building. It is a great place to chilax on a sunny day.

If you got kids, let them get wet in the water you will keep bathing in the sun while keeping an eye over them. Once my kids are inside the water, it will take me great effort to convince them that it is home time even after hours of playing.

The Bradford council building is situated a few feet away from the water which presents an excellent blend of the old and new architecture. The building wad designed by Lockwood and Mason in 1873.

Even when the sun goes down, the City Park presents a spectacular view appealing to the aesthetic sense of those who can appreciate the art of design and nature.

Most weekends, you will find some sort of gathering, fair or a fesitval. This Sunday was Literature Festival for children called Wonders of Words.

The Alhambra theatre, the Ice Skating court and the Science Medis Musem are all just a couple of yards away.
