A Taste of Tanzania - Part 1: The Elephants
I was going through some old photographs from my trip to Tanzania. Even though they are taken with a crappy age-old camera, some of them i think are definitely worth sharing. I've visited a lot of different countries but Tanzania will always be my favorite - mostly because of the safari. There are far too many pictures for me to fit into one post, so I decided to make this a series. Most of the pictures, if not all of them, will be from the safari.
This little guy eventually came within a patting distance to our car. Future posts will show lions and hyenas just as close. Or even closer.
These were relatively small elephants. Later during the safari we managed to see a huge one with broken tusks. I'm going through these pictures in the order they were taken, so eventually I'll show you that one as well.
The baby elephant fell trying to cross the ditch but with the help of his parents finally made it about two minutes later.
I guess they have the right of way...
We were travelling in the same car as you see on the left. It was exciting staring at lions right next to you from that position. Those cats can jump, you know.
These pictures were just appetizers. I'd say the best comes when we reach the Ngorongoro crater (yes, I spelled that right).
thank's for sharing
i resteem you
I really did not know much of Africa, you are a great artist who knows how to show the world a bit of this awesome continent. I appreciate the work you have produced in you documentary folder. Great job and thank you , this is very entertaining .
