Cristo blanco, white christ in 4K

The statue of Cristo Blanco (White Christ) is located on top of a hill high above Cuzco, Peru, and is not far from the Sacsayhuamán ruins.

Made from white stone, the statue is also illuminated during the night time. Cristo Blanco was built in 1945, you can see the year on his back. It was a parting gift for the city, from a group of Christian Palestinians. The statue has served as a reminder that good deeds do not go unnoticed.
