RE: UNESCO, sliced up corpses and mountains of food: Melaka, Malaysia
Nice post, but I found Melaka a disappointment. The architecture on the waterway is a jumble of huge tower blocks that have little to do with what remains of older constructions and what do you make of that abandoned sky monorail train that's abandoned and decaying for all to see?
Sure there are eateries and night life, but there's plenty of that in KL, Penang...anywhere in Malaysia. Just my opinion 😀
Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course. I kind of had that feeling of disappointment with KL, but that's mainly because I'm not such a big-city-girl I think. Not sure if I would rank Melaka in my top #3 of Malaysia, but I had a good (and especially tasty) few days there ;)
