1- Alabama: Lake Guntersville State Park

Lake Guntersville State Park is located on the shores of Lake Guntersville located in the northern part of the state. The park has an 18-hole championship golf course, a beautifully designed lodge, miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding, a beachfront beach side and a zip line system. the Lake Guntersville has always been a popular destination for bass fishermen, but the new zip line offers an alternative to adventure lovers. While staying at Lake Park, please visit the Caverns Cathedral State Park in 40 minutes. The caves and grotto subway through a field of a mile.

2 - Alaska: Chugach State Park

Chugach State Park - located in the southern part of the central area of the state - is about 495,000 acres, making it one of the largest national parks in the nation. The predominant part of the park consists of different forms of land, composed of rugged mountains on the banks of the ocean. The western most limit of the park is located in the western foothills of the Chugach Mountains and is only seven miles from downtown Anchorage. Slide Rock Park is seven miles north of the city of Sedona and about 25 miles south of Flagstaff. The park is located in the Coconino National Forest and borders the secret mountain wilderness. 4 - Arkansas: Pinnacle Mountain State Park

Pinnacle Mountain State Park is located west of Little Rock. The 2356-acre park includes a variety of natural habitats, the high summit of alluvial waters running along the Big Maumelle and Little Maumelle River. Namesake of the park stands Pinnacle Mountain more than 1,000 meters above the Arkansas River Valley. Pic shaped mountain cone has long been a point of Central Arkansas landmark and attraction for outdoor enthusiasts. Two of the hiking trails lead to beautiful mountain peaks. If climbing is not your thing, the park offers a variety of hiking trails in different degrees of difficulty. The east side of the park offers cyclists more than eight miles of mountain bike trails to a single trail.

5 - California: Anza Borrego Desert State Park

The National Park of the Anza-Borrego Desert (ABDSP) is the largest national park in California. It has more than 600,000 acre of unpaved roads, 12 wilderness areas, two campsites and several miles of hiking trails. The ABDSP is located about two hours north of San Diego. the first international dark sky community in California, is in the park and is an ideal destination for star testing. If the sun is shining, and you are not animated stars, you can explore the park on foot, off-road or on horseback. The Pacific Crest Trail, which stretches 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada, runs through the ABDSP.
