My First Time in the Philippines: Rented the Penthouse of the Tallest Building in the Country

After my recent travel to Dubai and spending 2 weeks there, I decided to keep my travels going within Asia. There's still a lot I haven't seen in Asia and I felt this was a good time to do it, so I hopped on a flight from Dubai to Manila. New countries always excite me. When I started looking for accommodation online, I found the Penthouse of the Tallest Building in the Philippines and it was hard to pass up. I had to do it. Especially for the story.

The Penthouse was located on the 70th Floor and had sprawling views throughout the condo. It was really humbling and inspiring to be so high up over an International City that I've never been in before. There just seemed to be so much goin on out there that I've never experienced. It was amazing to feel the energy and see how massive it is, all while listening to the sounds of city faintly from below.

Seeing the condo during the day was one thing, but seeing it at night was on a whole other level. It was only right that I got a bottle of wine for the occasion. I enjoyed vibing out up there. Thinking about crypto, travel, life, experiences and humanity. One of the biggest thing's for me was going from such a lavish and extravagant city like Dubai for 2 weeks and then driving through the slums of the Philippines, a third world country. The contrast was nothing short of eye opening.

The Philippines hit me in a way that no other country has. I don't know if it's because of where I'm at in my life, because I came here after Dubai and it really made me see the difference in lifestyles or because it's just powerful to experience. Maybe it's all three. Being here made me despise America a little more than I already do — and I'm American. I doubt this will be my last time here, but for now, it's off to Cebu.
