What started as a hole-in-the wall donut shop in downtown Springfield, MO is rapidly becoming the most successful, fastest-growing sweet treat in the Midwest.
Known for being open to the public 24 hours a day (That's right. I got 99 problems, but a 3am donut problem ain't one), and home of creations such as the Cookie Monster, the Homer (pink icing with dot sprinkles), Pink Lemonade, Slim Shady, The Cereal Killers (topped with your favorite breakfast cereal), and Jesus - all fabulous pastry creations that have left self-indulgent college students busting at the seams.
They opened sometime around 2013, and very quickly outgrew their small shop just off the square. Thanks to their facebook popularity, people from all over were stopping by while in town to get their hands on these peculiar delights. Requests started pouring in from towns states away who were desperate for their own local Hurts Donut Shop.
So, they moved into a larger location, hired more local employees...
...and started the donut ambulance in an effort to provide assistance to those in far away places with donut emergencies.
Now, only four years later, people in more than 9 states are able to sink their teeth into these:
and these...
Or these...
(It's a Bloody Mary donut. In case you were wondering)
...and wash it all down with this!
