Brushfire in Costa Rica

When you think of Costa Rica you probably imagine lush tropical landscape, extreme humidity and rain. But the truth is, there is a very dry dry season and a very wet rainy season. In the dry season the leaves fall off the trees and the land turns very brown, especially in Guanacaste in the NW part of the country. I shot this picture as a brush-fire was bearing down on our house. My friend Rob and I went to go check it out on the moto. Our other friend, Ryan was on his moto and the headlight was on Rob, which lit him up. This is probably one of the best photos I have ever shot.
