Living in a stone forest like Hong Kong, you can barely enjoy such a magnificent landscape. I took a trip to Greece as it was my first solo trip during my working holiday in Europe. It was the end of March, it's snowing in Berlin as i remembered.  But it's such a perfect weather when i was traveling in Athens.  

住在石屎森林般的香港, 真的很難欣賞到如此壯麗的景色。我選擇了希臘作為Working Holiday時第一個旅行目的地,  還記得三月底的柏林仍在下雪, 而我在雅典旅遊時可卻是極好的天氣。

I took a six hours train from Athens to Meteora, here is the famous spot - Meteora Monasteries.  

由雅典出發到邁泰奧拉, 為的就是這個在山上的東正教修道院建築群。

The Greek word ''Meteora'' means the city upon the sky.I came to the this place because of its alias - Castle in the Sky ,  Same as one of my favorite animation -   Laputa Castle in the Sky  by Miyazaki Hayao .

希臘文邁泰奧拉在英語的意思為在天空的城市, 我為了它的別名 - 天空之城而來的, 與其中一套我很喜歡的動畫同名, 就是來自宮崎駿的天空之城。

It's still off-season for the attractions, moreover, i don't have driving license, so i climbed for three hours to the top of hill without having the lunch. Anyway, i have to say, it's so worth it.

還記得是在淡季的三月, 因為我並沒有車牌, 於是在還未吃過午餐的情形底下, 我爬了三個小時的山才到達山頂。

I was too late for the monasteries as they were closed eventually.  Still, i was so glad that i could watch the beautiful sunsets over there.

最終趕到去修道院群時, 它們已經都已分別關門了, 我很慶幸自己來過這裡, 在如斯壯麗的景色底下渡過了一個美好的下午。
