The park I've never been to but have heard alot about and it looks marvelous. What's the best time of year to go there? Do you think it was so crowded because of Halloween and the decorations?

The best time of the year to go is during one of their many festivals. It may be busier, but it is worth it in the end. We have found that Wednesdays seem to be the least crowded day with Thursday a close second. I made the mistake of not looking at the Sevier county school schedule, so I did not realize they let out for fall break on the 12th. I have learned my lesson: never go when the kids are on break. With that being said, we did go in the summer and Wednesdays were not too bad. We plan on going in December right before the kids get out for Christmas break.
