COLMAR - THAT THE ADVENTURE BEGIN
hi steem people!!!!! i am just come back from my tour of the France..
One day my boyfriend(Tommy) said to me that he want to leave everyday life and so we decided to pik up and starting our adventure!!!
I hope to write many things about this trip without forgetting anything!!
STAGE 1 - COLMAR
So... the first day (1 agoust) we left Italy with four bags, one Camping Tent and one umbrella!! After two minuts of car Tommy was already hungry and so we had to stop ,at the first Autogrill ,our travel for breakfast at 12 am.
We travelled thought Switzerland!!! It was full of very beautiful roads that were sourranded by moutains that were ornamented by Swiss flags!
We arrived in Colmar around 3 pm ... it was clear that we were approaching the city from the rooftops that became more pointed and covered with wooden beams !
Supported our bags at the hotel we were ready to see the magical city!!!!!
From the photos it appears beautiful , pretty but in reality appears as a surreal fairytale town that enchants you in its size . All houses were white or very light colors and were covered by wooden beams that created very colorful drawings !
We discovered that there was a church famous for storks who dared on steeple
The city was very small and so it was very easy to find the square!!
So…. we were fascinated and also very hungry and so we tasted some french vine (very delicious) with some strange fillets of beef.
We tasted the Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc , Muscat , Traminer , Pinot Noir and another wine with too strange name to remember.
An empty stomach does not help much in this situation and so we decided to eat something in a restaurant that faced the channel.
in this very nice restaurant selling a single dish: crepes-pizza. While we were eating I realized that Tom stared at the channel so strange .. and so we discovered that in the channel were the sewer rats !!!! a rat meter !! !!!!! We immediately started to try to see it better ... but nothing had run away. Happy but tired we headed home where we ran into a very pretty Ferris wheel and we took a ride.
The next day we were able to see the market in Colmar, very cute but little one (we still had in mind the huge market in Barcelona) and we shot the alleyways that were a bit 'in the periphery respect the center of the village.
There were very nice little shops, filled with handicrafts and extravagant ideas.
Before leaving we made a short stop at a bar in the central square where we bought salad and Entrecote. They were very good but with too many sauces, that we later discovered to be a french tradition.
