Travels - Big Sur in USA - what's an incredible nature [ITA/ENG]

Durante un viaggio negli Stati Uniti, ho avuto l'opportunità di poter scegliere quale strada percorrere per andare da Los Angeles a San Francisco. Ci sono due modi per raggiungere la meta: il primo percorrendo l'interstatale I-5N, una strada interna a scorrimento veloce che permette di arrivare a San Francisco in meno di 6 ore; il secondo percorrendo tutta la costa da Santa Barbara a Monterey in poco meno di 12 ore e non perché la strada sia molto più lunga, ma perché ci si imbatte una molteplicità di paesaggi e di spettacoli naturalistici che catturano l'attenzione tanto da essere costretti a fare numerose tappe.

During a trip to the United States, I had the opportunity to choose how travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco. There are two ways to reach the destination: the first by interstate I-5N, a fast-moving internal road that allows you to get to San Francisco in less than 6 hours; the second is going along the coast from Santa Barbara to Monterey in less than 12 hours and not because the road is much longer, but because it comes across a wide variety of landscapes and naturalistic attractions that capture the attention so much that you are forced to do many stops.

Metà di questo percorso è conosciuto con il nome di Big Sur, dove i monti Santa Lucia si alzano a picco sull'Oceano Pacifico. Si incontrano paesaggi mozzafiato, viste a picco sul mare, colori sgargianti e, se si è fortunati, addirittura balene in mezzo all'oceano.

Half of this route is known as Big Sur, where the Santa Lucia Mountains stand up on the Pacific Ocean. You will encounter breathtaking landscapes, overlooking a sea spike, glittering colors and, if you are lucky, even whales in the ocean.

Naturalmente se si è in possesso di una macchina comoda è tutto più facile; la consiglio vivamente se si vuole affrontare un viaggio lungo e si ha l'ambizione e la voglia di andare in giro per gli Stati Uniti nella zona Ovest dei Grandi Parchi.

Of course if you are in possession of a convenient car it is all easier; I highly recommend it if you want to go on a long journey and you have the ambition and the desire to go around the United States in the West Park area.

Praticamente ci si ferma ogni 10Km per ammirare tutte le meraviglie che la natura può offrire e tutte le costruzioni che l'uomo nel tempo ha saputo adattare.
