A Sabang sunset.

So today, it wasn't planned. Arriving in Sabang  at 6 PM two days ago wasn't the plan either. The idea was to arrive before sunset not later. 

But for one reason to another, we finally left the house about 4 PM, but we didn't count on getting lost either, hence our sunset became a dinner picnic with our mobile phones providing lights.

Today, I didn't count on my brother going to a different town near Sabang to collect a furniture to renovate. 

Why not drop-by in Sabang on the way home? 

Great idea? Since we want to go back for missing the sunset. Why not?

First stop

Salapasap is another barangay in Cabugao, a bit further north of Sabang. The location is also at the seaside where we noted a lot of fishing boats by the shore. Might as well do some sightseeing as I haven't been there before.

Sabang is known for its' gorgeous sunsets! It's not that far, more or less 1 hour away, north of Vigan. It's a matter of not missing a street turn from the main highway to the sea shore. 

We passed-by these fields going to Sabang. The Ilocos Province are mostly farmlands, where it is strategically located between the Cordillera mountains and the coast. Sabang, although located along the shore, some families are into farming, and the rest are into fishing.

Though very windy when we arrived in Sabang, there were a couple of foreign tourists and a Filipino family in the main hut. I guess they were having the same idea as ours!

This time, we didn't miss the sunset.
