Hidden corners in Vigan

You know for some people, after a holiday, they wake up and check pictures of long ago holiday pictures? Well, today is one of those days...and I went back up to last April holiday in the Northern Philippines. 

I must say that these are overdue...but one could be forgiven when after arriving as such, the following day means going to work, or worse even jet-lagged!

This is just a small courtyard, surrounded by shops and other establishments, to the left of Plaza Salcedo. It can't be seen from the street so one need to go inside a side street between Chowking and Jollibee.

It's cool here under the umbrella shades and a few tall plants that surround some benches to sit on. A fresh fruits smoothie stand is also available in the corner. Bliss.

Those umbrellas are named and donated by each shop and establishments around the courtyard, serving as a promotional tool. I should know because I suddenly saw my dentist' shop printed in one of them.
