Christmas market on the Red square - Moscow part 1
Hi girls and guys, I am Nikola and I will try to share my travels with you :)
So, here we go.
My girlfriend and I got a chance to visit Moscow, and oh, we are glad we took it. It was the month of December and that could mean only one thing - Russian Winter :)
There was always something mysteriously magical about Russian winters in books, cinema, art, etc. We were so happy to have had gotten the chance to visit this ginormous and equally famous historical city.
Moscow has a population of over 12 million people, covering an area of 970 mi². As a comparison, we live in a city with a million citizens.
In this first post, I would like to show you the "Red Square". It is a city square in Moscow, Russia. It separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currently the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod.
We got around the city easily using the Moscow Metro. It is an experience all by itself.
This is the entrance to the Red Square, super excited at this time!
