Barcelona Travel advice + Top 10

Hi girls and guys,

I recently went to Barcelona and I loved it! Just wanted to share some practical travel advice with you :)

Barcelona is most definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. When you think about it, Barcelona has become the tourist capital of Europe joining Paris, Berlin, etc.

Last year the city’s 1.6 million residents were heavily outnumbered by an estimated 32 million visitors.

We were in Barcelona for a week and I hope I can share some of my practical advice with you.

Walk. It is not a big big city, if the weather allows it, walk. You will get to everywhere with ease, cover whole districts by foot. Maybe grab a bicycle or longboard for the beach Barceloneta. Other parts of the city, narrow streets in gothic part, Raval, etc.

Buy everything that you can buy in local shops and markets (beer, sandwiches, juice, water, other essentials) the prices are cheaper than western EU countries

Eat local, save global. Local burger fast-food, local bakery, all the likes.

As I already said above, you can travel Barcelona by foot. We walked 90% of the time, using the metro system only twice.

Rent-a-bicycle is ok, if you're not into walking marathons.

Nightlife prices are not so expensive, but, if you are using the whole day for sightseeing you may lack party energy for the after midnight hours :)

This is a city you can visit in any part of the year, we were there in November and some people were swimming. It was warm, sunny, more than pleasant, it was perfect weather!
