Collecting mushroom in Da Lat forest

This is an amazing chance I went to a forest and collected organic mushrooms. I was so surprised that the red one can be eaten. Wow, when I was in school, my teachers taught me that the white mushroom is able to be eaten beside the colorful ones. I did believe that the red mushroom is poisonous, if we eat them we’ll die soon :)))
In this post, I am going to show you how to collect mushroom in Da Lat forest and how to cook it safely.

My friends and I wake up at 5:00 a.m and went to a forest near Tuyen Lam lake, the place is near water and covered by many trees. Therefore, it’s a good condition for development of mushrooms.
My friend, a local here said that the white mushrooms above are not able to eaten because it’s poisonous, we must find the red ones.
After collecting them, my friend chose them again to make sure our mushrooms that can be eaten. She showed us the way to cook them.
Firsr of all, we washed them and then mix water with salt. We put mushrooms to the salt water and put a chili to that salt water and mushrooms. If the chili is exploded, the mushrooms contain poison. And we must throw them all. Luckily, our mushrooms are safe to eat.
This is the result after we boil them. We cook hot pot. The hot pot included pork, mushroom, and some kinds of vegetable. We did have a good lunch.
Beside my amazing experience, we were so sad because we saw a lot of trash in the forest.
We collected them. The trash was from campers. We hope that any body comes to the forest, they should love the forest and protect it. Don’t leave anything but footprints :)
