Backpacking trip through Europe, I need your help
My friends and I want to do a summer backpacking trip through Europe for two months.
Were from Austria and most of the time we will travel by train . We haven't totally planned the route yet but the countries will be
Hungary-Italy-France-Spain-Belhium-Germany-Netherlands-Danmark-Sweden.
It would be awesome if you could tell us something about your country or your city/village what doesn't stand in the tourist guide and please recommend any must see cities or places you have visited.

Sounds like a sweet trip in the making, besides sites like trip adviser, I try to see if the town has an events calendar, Frankfurt has some amazing opera events in the month of June-Aug and fantastic festivals. Finland has a massive metal festival. I am also not a big fan of the touristy stuff so I usually look a town over and see what they have to Offer. Have you thought of Iceland? Or Greece instead of France/Italy?

To be honest not really, nobody of us were in Iceland before so it would be also a nice country for our trip.
Last year we were in Greece and it was really beautiful, hopefully will be Italy as good as Greece.
Yeah I found out about it a week after i booked my return flight from teh EU, missing it by just days :/, I know Italy is really pushing for people to kind of hit the smaller towns cause of its influx of tourists to Rome and other big cities is causing issues. I followed so I could read up on your adventures.
ah iam sorry for you :(, yeah because everyone wants to go to Rome if the go to Italy and ignore the rest of the country.
