Visiting Trento, a Beautiful City in North Italy

A warm and relaxing city in the Alps, we spent a whole day in Trento - or known as Trient in German - to explore this not-so-big city. Trento is the capital of Trentino, the northernmost region of Italy. We were here during our road trip through Italian Alps at the end of last winter.

As we came to the city, that was drizzling, of course we have brought umbrella. First We came to tourist information office in the middle of city to picked up a city map, then we have read that city map, while we have cup of coffee in a cozy cafe. When we had left the cafe, the city was warm and sunny, a perfect day to explore…!

Trento is a old city which has long story behind, I have seen this from the old buildings here. But this is a comfortable, clean and orderly city, like any other city in Europe. Once you come here, then you will love it.

We walked across the shops and boutiques that sell good fashions of Italy. And of course a lot of fine Italian shoes. I want that Italian shoes… but i remembered that i already have so many shoes in home. But I wanted to shop, therefore, I bought pizza flour, some pesto and parmesan cheese directly from Italy.

Then we walked into the market place, there was a nice fountain in the middle, surrounded by grand old artistic buildings. Here we got a glass of Italian white wine in a good cafe.

At another corner of city, we bought two cappuccini and excellent Italian traditional tart. We sat for a while in this comfortable place.
