2 weeks holidays in solo at the end of April where would you go?

I got 2 week of holidays to use in april and was wondering where to go. I'm departing from France and like to travel on the cheap when possible. i originally planed to go somewhere in south east asia (Vietnam / Cambogia / Taiwan) but not sure if it's a good idea for two reasons : only two weeks to spend there and coronavirus (direct flights from france are expensive and I guess a layover in China is not possible).

Which place would you suggest to a solo guy with 2 weeks and around 1000euros to spend?
