Chihuahua beach in Punta del Este, Uruguay!
Communion between the naturalistic environment and nudism, this unique beach has allowed nudist practices since the 60s, although it acquired legal status in 1994 and was recently legalized its status in 2000.
With coast to the Bay of Portezuelo, the Beach of Chihuahua extends by 2000 m of beach towards the east of the brook El Portero, where flows out of the Sauce Lagoon. The natural environment conssts of the beach, sea, forests and streams where there is varied natural fauna.
At present it is the main nudist beach in Uruguay and has the support of the Intendance of Maldonado, who watches over the cleanliness and safety of the beach. There is a lifeguard to assist bathers and members of the prefecture travel around.
In high season Chihuahua is attended daily by 2000 and 3000 people. The offer of accommodation is of excellent quality, with all the comforts for a stay of absolute relaxation, in contact with nature.
