Iceland, Mining Paradise
4 months ago I got to know a great business opportunity, which took me to the trip that I will explain next.
I never thought that in such a short time they would give the keys to make this trip. I hope that you like it.
We left the Barcelona airport on February 15.
Preparing to take off
We are right in the front seats of #criptomillenials, some friends who do a weekly program on facebook live, where they talk about the latest news and events in the world of #cryptocurrencies.
If you understand Spanish, give them a look. You can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/SamuelFerreroBitcoin/
5 hours later, after sharing knowledge with half a plane, since almost everyone was going for the same, we arrived at the airport of Keflavik, located about 50 km from Reykjavik.
The next day, on February 16, we went to the Grand Hotel Reykjavík, where Jose taught some very interesting trainings.
Meanwhile, on the street this was the panorama. It was snowing, at 2 or 3 o'clock the sun came out, and after a while it was snowing again. We were very surprised by the climate in Iceland.
After the trainings we went for a while through the center of Reykjavik, and went to visit the Lutheran church Hallgrimskirkja, completed in 1986.
The statue in front of the church represents Leif Eriksson, son of Erik the Red. This statue was made by Alexander Stirling Calder and was a gift from the United States of America to the Icelandic people in 1930, as a millennium memorial to the creation of the Alþingi, the oldest parliament in Europe and one of the oldest in the world.
Some more captures of our brief visit to the center, since we had more training in the afternoon, and we had the 4 days of travel fully planned.
We met more colleagues in the business, and we were with the speakers after the trainings, expanding knowledge and sharing experiences.
The day of February 16 was the great day. Here we are on our way to the factory where my miners are working, generating #bitcoin #ethereum #monero and #zcash
And these are some of the views that this beautiful country gave us on the way.
We arrived at the factory. It was much bigger than I expected ...
In the interior with a good friend, and partner in the business.
and even though we were more than 400 people, they had the gift of giving each assistant an antminer S5 as a souvenir (obviously they are miners who have already exhausted their useful life)
After visiting the factory, they took us to lunch and to relax at Blue Lagoon. A natural tourist resort of blue hot springs, a gift to the senses.
Unfortunately we could not enjoy the aurora borealis, because it started to snow again, although according to what they told us, the conditions were fulfilled for it to appear.
We shared a relaxing time with Joe Frank, one of the founders of the company.
Finally on February 17 we returned to Barcelona, wanting more. We will return to Iceland with more time, and we will be able to enjoy the wonders that this country offers us.
Would you like to know about our return to Iceland, or about the business we have there?
I really wanted to visit Iceland after watching Oblivion, but visiting Iceland while checking up on my crypo miners would be a real treat. Great pics!
Thank you! @techwizardry
I hope you can travel soon to that country. You'll love it.
very cool!
Great job man
Thank you :)
Nature took care of everything so much that you find everywhere, what to learn.
Nice post... why did not you swim in blue lagoon?
I had a really bad cold, I do not think it was a good idea to be at -7 ° C
Excelente post, me encanto las fotos
Gracias Jose ;)
