Flying threw Russia is truly amazing! The landscapes of huge rivers like the Amur or endless mountain ranges with trees like I have never seen them before should give us a preview of what we are about to experience on our way from Wladiwostok to Siberia.

Our friends from Austria, who drove all the way from Austria to Wladiwostok picked us up at the Wladiwostok Airport. We cannot believe we actually made it to the other end of the Eurasian continent and used the day to explore the city, which is also called the LA of Russia. Here the Transsibirian Train ends and it is only a short way to the borders of North Korea and China. It is hard realizing how far away from home you actually are.

The main station of Wladiwostok. This is where the Transsibirian Train ends and returns to Moscow. It is the longest railway line in the world!

This is how a part of the coastline of the island Russki, which is laying right in front of Wladiwostok, looks like.

We headed off toward Khabarovsk in the morning. It is a 750 km ride with the two Dodge Ram´s and the Porche that is joining us. It rained in the morning but the weather got a lot better later. I did not mind the rain though, it was refreshing after a hot day in Wladiwostok.

This is an eight-kilometre bridge which connects Wladiwostok to the Russian mainland. There used to be only one route in and out which caused huge traffic all day I was told.

On this trip, I am shooting a video, which will show the amazing landscapes of Siberia and show some of the life in this region. I hope you still enjoy these photos, which I know don´t show too much. So I hope you stick around and follow me to see my video that will come out shortly after this trip. :)
