Let us go through the great Indian monuments in this series.
8 India Gate
It was built by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens Begum, initiated by the British Imperial Mandate, to honor the soldiers of the Undivided Indian Army who died during World War I between 1914 and 1921.
It is located near Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, India and built in 10 years of time frame 1921-1931. It is the tomb to house the mortal remains of Humayun, the second Mughal Emperor of India. It has Triumphal Arch style architecture and built using yellow and red sandstone and granite. India Gate complex spread in 306,000 m^2 area and have 625m in diameters and has 42m in height and 9.1m in width.
