I am so glad I got to visit this amazing city. It was quite an adventure filled with stress, tears (both of sadness and of joy), and adrenaline to get here though! The flight to Paris departed from JFK airport at 9:30 pm, but we flew from Atlanta to Boston first because it was cheaper. In Boston, it was snowing and the sky was full of fog, making it dangerous for planes to depart...this caused the airline to push back our flight to 6:00 pm! We tried to convince Air France to let us depart directly from Boston, but that didn't work, so eventually we waited it out for a bit, but the flight kept getting pushed back by 30 minutes! So, we decided that we would just rent a car and drive to JFK (in the snow/fog). This was quite a risk as we had never driven in snow before, and there was a lot of traffic on our route, which made the journey all the more painful and heartbreaking
